Summer Resident Camp
Enjoy a week or two in the beauty and excitement of the redwoods and meadows at Camp Jones Gulch YMCA. Campers age 6 to 16 can join us for the 76th year of “Have Fun!” Stay in dormitory style cabins with kids of similar ages, but varied backgrounds while you try the best we have to offer including climbing our tower, sliding down the zip-line, paddling the pond in canoes, taking a horse ride, playing zany field games, singing around campfires, spending one night under the stars, and more. One-week sessions run Sunday through Friday with an opportunity to add free of charge a Stayover weekend to connect 2 one-week sessions for a longer stay. Our beautiful site includes renovated bathrooms, a unique clam-shaped pool, and balanced meals in a large historic dining hall. It’s all the fun you’ve been looking for and it’s all right here on 927 acres, just minutes from La Honda

Surf Camp
Surf at local beaches by day; hang with other campers at the dance and campfires by night. The perfect mix of rustic and rad! Surf Campers age 12 to 16 stay in a unique Surfer’s Village on our main camp. Monday they work on basic skills in our pool and try out our activity areas like zip line and archery. Tuesday through Thursday campers head down to local beaches to try their skills on beach and breaks. Evenings, surf campers participate with the rest of Camp Jones Gulch teens in age-appropriate activities like overnight under the stars, campfire, and a themed dance. For 4675 per camper, this is an extremely awesome way to finish summer 2010; spots available August 15-20, 2010

Surf Safari
Take this two-week trip to surf the best beaches of California . This 13-day session travels the coast from San Luis Obispo to Half Moon Bay surfing the best breaks while camping in beachside campsites. Campers start at our camp near La Honda before launching this road trip along the coast. Along the way, the group will hit up local attractions like Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and work on techniques like pop ups and surfers' etiquette. All surf camp staff are experienced surfers and teachers, prepared to help every camper improve and succeed in their goals. All beach activity is supervised by trained beach lifeguards. All necessary gear and wetsuits are provided. Whether your teen is new to the skill or a practiced wave-rider, Surf Safari will provide a fun and fabulous way to finish summer 2010.

Horse Camp
Learn western style riding and fundamental horsemanship skills, including trotting patterns, drill team exercises, bareback riding, and more. Campers age 12 to 16 enjoy the direct supervision of the experienced staff that created this thorough and progressive approach to horsemanship and western riding instruction. In the evening hours, share activities with other teens in camp including campfires, overnight under the stars, and teen dance.
